Biology/DNA Forensic Service

The Biology scientists conduct several types of serological examinations on evidentiary materials, including the identification of blood, semen, saliva, and other body fluids. DNA testing is then performed in order to determine possible sources of the body fluids identified. This involves comparing the DNA types obtained from the questioned stains with the DNA types obtained from known blood and/or saliva samples from victims and suspects. Blood spatter interpretation on clothing and at crime scenes is also undertaken.

In summary, our experienced forensic scientists can provide services for Criminal, Defence and Civil Law cases, as well as for industry and private cases.
